NAVAJYOTHI was incepted in 1976 based on its commitment to provide development aspects for the poor and needy in rural areas and also with a deep thrust for innovative peoples participation in social changes. As a true soldier it waged a battle against poverty hunger, illiteracy, ignorance, disability and disadvantaged by organizing and participating in development and awareness programmes . showing concern for the under privileged in rural areas of Medak and Karimnagar Districts.
The efforts were started in one village and gradually expanded its activities to 106 villages. Presently Navajyothi is working with 20 active projects . Navajyothi is now covering 15000 families and around 75000 individual members are covered under different programmes from 106 villages .
